(٣٠٩) (د-يحيى) بن إسماعيل الواسطي ابو زكرياء. روى عن عبد السلام ابن حرب وعبد الحميد بن عبد الرحمن الحماني وابن المبارك وعباد بن العوام وإبراهيم بن سعد وعيسى بن يونس ووكيع ويحيى بن يمان وغيرهم. وعنه أبو داود وإبراهيم الحربي وإسماعيل سمويه وتمتام وابو الا حوص قاضي عكبراء وعباس الدوري وابن أبي الدنيا وعلي بن سعيد بن مسروق الكندي وجعفر ابن محمد الصائغ وآخرون. قال الآجري سئل أبو داود عنه فقال سمعت أحمد ذكره فقال أعرفه قديما وكان لي صديقا وقال أبو حاتم أدركته ولم أكتب عنه.
