(٧٤٧) (س-نباتة (¬١) الوالبي ويقال الجعفي. روى عن عمر بن الخطاب وسويد بن غفلة. وعنه الأسود بن يزيد وعاصم بن كليب. قال أبو حاتم كان معلما على عهد عمر وذكره ابن حبان في الثقات وقال كان من المعلمين على عهد عمر وقال الدارقطني الأصبغ بن نباتة يروي عن علي ونباتة بن الجعد بن جعفر يروى عن عمر. المحدثون يقولون بضم النون وسمعت أبا بكر الأنباري هما بفتح النون*
