(٤٥٦) (ع-معيقيب (¬١) بن أبي فاطمة الدوسي حليف بني عبد شمس أسلم قديما بمكة وهاجر الهجرتين وشهد بدرا وكان على خاتم النبي ﵌ (¬٢) واستعمله أبو بكر وعمر على بيت المال. روى عن. النبي ﵌. وعنه ابنه محمد وابن ابنه إياس بن الحارث بن معيقيب وأبو سلمة بن عبد الرحمن بن عوف. قال ابن عبد البر كان قد نزل به داء الجذام فعولج منه بأمر عمر بن الخطاب بالحنظل فتوقف وتوفي في خلافة عثمان وقيل بل في خلافة علي سنة أربعين*
