    (٤١٣) (خ م س-معبد) بن هلال العنزي (¬١) البصري. روى عن عقبة بن عامر الجهني وأنس بن مالك والحسن البصري ونفيع أبي داود الأعمى وعن رجل من أهل الشام. روى عنه قتادة وهو من أقرانه وسليمان التيمي وسعيد ابن عبد العزيز وعبد الرحمن بن يزيد بن جابر وسعيد بن إياس الجريري وأبو جندل لبيد بن حيان النميري والحمادان ومعتمر بن سليمان. قال الدوري عن ابن معين مشهور وقال إسحاق بن منصور عن ابن معين ثقة وذكره ابن حبان في الثقات*
