    (٣٧١) (س-المعافى) بن سليمان الجزري أبو محمد الرسغنى (¬١) روى عن أبيه وموسى بن أعين والقاسم بن معن المسعودي وخطاب بن القاسم وزهير بن معاوية وفليح بن سليمان وغيرهم. وعنه ابنه عبد الكبير وعلي بن عثمان النفيلي وعلي بن محمد بن زكرياء البغدادي وعمرو بن يحيى بن الحارث الحمصي وهلال بن العلاء ومحمد بن جبلة الرافقي وأبو زرعة الرازي ومحمد بن إبراهيم بن فيل والقاسم بن الليث الرسغني وآخرون. قال أبو بكر بن المقري حدثنا محمد بن محمد بن بدر بن التفاح الباهلي بمصر حدثنا الحسن بن سليمانقبيطة حدثنا المعافى بن سليمان الجزري ثقة فذكر حديثا. قيل إنه مات سنة أربع وثلاثين ومائتين*
