    (٣٣٧) (د-مطير (¬١) بن سليم الوادي. روى عن ذي الزوائد وقيل عن رجل عن ذي الزوائد وهو الصواب وعن ذي اليدين وأبي الشموس البلوي. وعنه ابناه سليم وشعيب. روى له أبو داود حديثا عن ذي الزوائد. قال البخاري لم يثبت حديثه. قلت. لكنه فرق بين مطير والد شعيب الوادعي عن ذي اليدين وبين مطير الوادي الراوي عن ذي الزوائد*وعنه ابنه سليم* وقال أبو حاتم هما واحد وقد صرح في رواية أبي داود بسماعه من ذي الزوائد وفي الأخرى أدخل بينهما واسطة فيحتمل أنه سمعه بواسطة ثم سمعه من ذي الزوائد وقد قال البخاري سمع ذا الزوائد والله تعالى أعلم ووقع ذكره في سند حديث أبي الشموس وقد ذكره في ترجمته في الكنى وذكره ابن حبان في الثقات*
