(٢٩٣) (ت-المسيب) بن نجبة (¬١) كوفي. روى عن حذيفة وعلي. وعنه أبو إسحاق السبيعي وأبو إدريس المرهبي. قال أبو حاتم عن أبيه يقال أنه خرج مع سليمان بن صرد في طلب دم الحسين بن علي فقتلا سنة خمس وستين. قلت. في وقعة عين الوردة تقدمت الإشارة إلى ذلك في ترجمة سليمان وقال ابن سعد في الطبقة الأولى من أهل الكوفة المسيب بن نجبة بن ربيعة بن رباح بن عوف بن هلال بن سمح بن فزارة شهد القادسية ومشاهد علي وقتل يوم عين الوردة مع التوابين وقال العسكري روى عن النبي ﵌ مرسلا وليست له صحبة*
