    (١٧٨) (خ م د ت-مروان) الأصفر أبو خلف (¬-) البصري يقال هو مروان بن خاقان ويقال غيره. روى عن ابن عمر وأبي هريرة وأنس وأبي وائل وصعصعة بن معاوية ومسروق بن الأجدع وأبي رافع الصائغ والشعبي وجماعة. وعنه خالد الحذاء وعوف الأعرابي ومبارك بن فضالة وسليم ابن حبان وشعبة وعوف الأعرابي والحسن بن ذكوان وغيرهم. قالالآجري قلت لأبي داود مروان الأصفر قال مروان بن خاقان ثقة وذكره ابن حبان في الثقات*
