    (٣٩) (د ت ق-مالك) بن هبيرة بن خالد بن مسلم بن الحارث بن الحصيب ابن مالك بن الحارث بن بكير بن ثعلبة بن عصية بن السكون السكوني ويقال الكندي المكنى أبا سعيد. عداده في أهل مصر. روى عن النبي ﵌. وعنه أبو الخير مرثد بن عبد الله اليزني. قال ابن يونس ولي حمص لمعاوية. روى عنه من أهل حمص غير واحد وقيل إنه حضر فتح مصر وقال أبو بكر البغدادي في تاريخ الحمصيين مات في أيام مروان بن الحكم. قلت. ذكره ابن حبان في الصحابة ومحمد بن الربيع الجيزي في الصحابة الذين شهد وافتح مصر وقال البخاري في التاريخ له صحبة وقال محمد بن عوف ما أعلم له صحبة وذكره أبو القاسم عبد الصمد بن سعيد الحمصي في كتاب الصحابة الذين نزلوا حمص*
