    (٦٣٤) (د-قبيصة) بن وقاص السلمي عداده في أهل البصرة. روى عن النبي ﵌. وروى عنه صالح بن عبيد. روى له أبو داود حديث يكون عليكم أمراء يؤخرون الصلاة الحديث. وقال عقبة ثنا أحمد بن عبيد عن محمد بن سعد عن أبي الوليد قال يقولون قبيصة بن وقاص له صحبة. قلت. وذكره في الصحابة أيضا ابن أبي خثيمة وأبو علي بن السكن وأبو زرعة الرازي وغيرهم وفرق أبو الفتح الأزدي بين قبيصة بن وقاص هذا الذي تفرد بالرواية عنه صالح بن عبيد ونسبه ليثيا وبين قبيصة بن وقاص السلمي الذي روى عنه عَقِيل بن طلحة وكذا قال أبو القاسم البغوي وابن قانع في نسب هذا الذي روى عنه صالح بن عبيد أنه ليثي*
