(٣١٢) (د-عون) بن كهمس (¬١) بن الحسن التميمي أبو يحيى البصري.روى عن أبيه وبشر بن عمير وهشام بن حسان وأبي الأسود الطفاوي وسليمان التيمي وشعبة وغيرهم. روى عنه أحمد بن عبد الله بن علي بن سويد بن منجوف وخليفة بن خياط وبندار وأبو موسى ومحمد بن يحيى القطعي وغيرهم. قال حرب عن أحمد بن حنبل لا أعرفه وقال الآجري عن أبي داود لم يبلغني إلا الخير وذكره ابن حبان في الثقات*
