    (٢٧٥) (س-عنبسة (¬٢) بن الأزهر الشيباني أبو يحيى الكوفي قاضي جرجان والري. روى عن أبي إسحاق والسندي وسلمة بن كهيل وسماك بن حرب وفروة بن وهب ومحارب بن دثار وجماعة. وعنه أحمد بن أبي طيبة الجرجاني وعفان بن سيار الجرجاني وبندار وإبراهيم بن المختار والسري بن يحيى ويونس بن بكير وهشام بن عبيد الله الرازي وسفيان بن وكيع قال أبو حاتم وأبو داود لا بأس به. زاد أبو حاتم يكتب حديثه ولا يحتج به وذكرهابن حبان في الثقات وقال يخطئ. روى له النسائي حديثا واحدا في النهي عن النفخ في الصلاة*
