    (١٧٦) (ي د ق-عمرو) بن المهاجر بن أبي مسلم واسمه دينار الأنصاري أبو عبيد الدمشقي مولى أسماء بنت زيد. رأى أنسا وواثلة. وروى عن أبيه وعمر بن عبد العزيز وكان على شرطته وعباس بن سالم اللخمي. روى عنه أخوه محمد بن مهاجر وعبد الله بن العلاء بن زبر ويحيى بن حمزة الحضرمي وإسماعيل بن عياش وغيرهم. قال ابن معين ودحيم وأبو داود وابن سعد والعجلى ثقة وقال يعقوب ابن سفيان هو وأخوه ثقتان ولهما أحاديث كبار حسان وذكره ابن حبان في الثقات قال يحيى بن بكير ولد سنة (٧٤) ومات سنة تسع وثلاثين ومائة وفيهاأرخه غير واحد وقال ابن سعد له حديث كثير ومات وله أربع وستون سنة.
