(٨٢) (ق-عمرو) بن الضحاك بن مخلد بن الضحاك بن مسلم بن الضحاك وأبوه هو أبو عاصم النبيل. روى عن أبيه ومحمد بن عبد الله الأنصاري. وعنه ابن ماجه وابنه أبو بكر أحمد بن عمرو بن أبي عاصم الحافظ صاحب التصانيف وأبو داود السجستاني خارج السنن ومحمد بن عبد الملك الدقيقي والمعمري وعبد الله بنأحمد ومحمد بن الحسن بن قتيبة والحسين بن إسحاق التستري وأبو يعلى وغيرهم ذكره ابن حبان في الثقات وقال مستقيم الحديث وكان على قضاء الشام وقال ابنه أبو بكر مات سنة اثنتين وأربعين ومأتين*
