(١٩٨) (خ م كد س ق-عتبان (¬١)) بن مالك بن عمرو بن العجلان بن زيد ابن غنم بن سالم بن عوف بن عمرو بن عوف بن الخزرج الأنصاري السلمي البدري. روى عن النبي ﵌. وعنه أنس ومحمود بن الربيع والحصين بن محمد السالمي وأبو بكر بن أنس بن مالك. قال ابن عبد البر لم يذكره ابن إسحاق في البدريين وذكره غيره ومات في خلافة معاوية. قلت. وذكر ابن سعد أن النبي ﵌ آخى بينه وبين عمر بن الخطاب ﵄*
