(٩٣٨) (ق-عبد الوهاب) بن الورد (¬١) المكي. عن رجل من أهل المدينة. وعنه ابن المبارك. قيل إنه وهيب بن الورد وقيل بل هو أخ له وسيعاد. قلت. وممن نص على أن وهب بن الورد اسمه عبد الوهاب يعقوب بن سفيان في تاريخه والشيرازي في الألقاب وحكاه عن ابن المبارك وأبي العباس السراج وكذا حكي عن يحيى بن معين*
