(٩٢٩) (س ق-عبد الوهاب) بن سعيد بن عطية السلمي أبو محمد الدمشقي المفتي المعروف بوهب. روى عن إسماعيل بن عياش وابن عيينة وشعيب ابن إسحاق وعبد الرحمن بن زيد بن أسلم. وعنه شعيب بن شعيب بن إسحاق وعباس بن الوليد الخلال وعبد الله بن عبد الرحمن الدارمي وعمر بن مضر ابن عمر العنسي ويحيى بن عتاب الحمصي ويعقوب بن سفيان الفارسي. ذكره ابن حبان في الثقات وقال أبو زرعة الدمشقي مات عبد الوهاب بن سعيد المفتي السلمي الذي يقال له وهب سنة ثلاث عشرة ومائتين وكذا أرخه يعقوب ابن سفيان.
