(٥١٦) (ت س-عبد الرحمن) بن ماعز. ويقال ماعز بن عبد الرحمن ويقال محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن ماعز. روى عن أبيه ماعز العامري وسفيان ابن عبد الله الثقفي. وعنه الزهري والجعيد بن عبد الرحمن وهنيد بن القاسم. قلت. قال ابن حبان في ترجمته في الثقات إن معمرا قال عن الزهري عن عبد الرحمن بن ماعز وخالفه الزبيدي فقال ماعز بن عبد الرحمن وقال البخاري في التاريخ وافق معمرا شعيب وقال إبراهيم بن سعد عن الزهري عن محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن ماعز والله أعلم*
