(٥٠٧) (د س-عبد الرحمن) بن قيس بن محمد بن الأشعث بن قيس الكندي الكوفي. عن أبيه عن جده عن عبد الله بن مسعود حديث إذا اختلف البيعان والسلعة قائمة الحديث. وعنه أبو العميس هكذا وقع نسبه في سنن أبي داود وكذا ذكره ابن أبي حاتم وهو الصواب ووقع عند يعقوب بن سفيان عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن قيس بن محمد بن الأشعث وعند النسائي عبد الرحمن ابن محمد بن الأشعث قيل إن الحجاج قتله بعد سنة (٩٠) *
