(٤٩٧) (عبد الرحمن) بن أبي الغمر أبو زيد المصري الفقيه. روى عن معاوية بن يحيى الطرابلسي وعبد الرحمن بن القاسم. روى عنه أبو الطاهر بن السرح والحارث بن مسكين ويونس بن عبد الأعلى وأبو زرعة الرازي. هكذا ذكرهصاحب الكمال ولم يذكر من أخرج له فلم يترجم له المزي بذلك وقد روى أيضا عن المفضل بن فضالة ويعقوب بن عبد الرحمن الإسكندراني وروى عنه أيضا البخاري خارج الصحيح وروح بن الفرج وأحمد بن رشدين. قال الدار قطنى حديثه عند المصريين وقال ابن يونس اسم أبي الغمر عمر ابن عبد العزيز وكان من موالي بني سهل ومات في آخر يوم من رجب سنة أربع وثلاثين ومأتين*
