(٤٧١) (تمييز-عبد الرحمن) بن عقبة بن عبد الرحمن بن جابر بن عبد الله الأنصاري روى عن أبيه أنه حدثه عن أبيه عن جابر قال لما خرج رسول الله ﵌ وأبو بكر مهاجرين فدخلا الطائف الحديث. وفيه قصة أم معبد مختصرة. روى عنه يعقوب بن محمد الزهري أخرجه البزار وقال عبد الرحمن ابن عقبة معروف النسب ولم يحدث إلا يعقوب بن محمد*
