(٤٠٣) (ق-عبد الرحمن) بن صفوان بن أمية بن خلف بن وهب بن حذافة بن جمح الجمحي المكي أخو عبد الله يقال إن له صحبة. روى عن النبي ﵌ أنه استعار من أبيه صفوان دروعا. وعنه عبد الله بن أبي مليكة ذكره ابن حبان في ثقات التابعين وفي إسناد حديثه اختلاف. قلت. وذكره ابن حبان في الصحابة أيضا وكذا الترمذي والباوردي والعسكري وابن منده وابن عبد البر وقال ابن البرقي لا أظن له سماعا وإنما جاء عنه حديث هو مشهور عن يعلى بن أمية وقال مسلم في الوحدان وممن انفرد عنه ابن أبي مليكة من الصحابة عبد الرحمن بن صفوان وذكر الاختلاف على ابن أبي مليكة فيه فالله أعلم*
