    (٢٢١) (م د ق-عبد الحميد) بن بيان بن زكرياء بن خالد بن أسلم وقيل بيان بن أبان الواسطي أبو الحسن بن علي بن عيسى العطار السكري. روى عن أبيه وهشيم وخالد الطحان الواسطي وإسحاق الأزرق ويزيد بن هارون ومحمد بن يزيد وغيرهم. وعنه مسلم وأبو داود وابن ماجه وأسلم بن سهل والحسن بن علي العمري وأبو زرعة وعلي بن عبد الله بن بشر والحسن بن سفيان ومحمد بن جرير ومحمد بن محمد بن سليمان الباغندي وغيرهم. ذكره ابن حبان في الثقات وقال بحشل توفي سنة أربع وأربعين ومأتين. قلت. قال أسلم في تاريخ واسط إنه عطاردي فيحرر وقول المزي فيه العطار وقال مسلمة ثنا عنه ابن مبشر وهو ثقة*
