(١٣٩) (ت ص ق-عبد الله) بن وهب بن زمعة بن الأسود بن المطلب بن أسد ابن عبد العزى الأسدي وهو الأصغر وأخوه عبد الله الأكبر. قتل يوم الدارروى عن عثمان وابن عمر فيما قيل وعن معاوية وأم سلمة وزوجته كريمة بنت المقداد بن الأسود. وعنه الزهري وهاشم بن هاشم بن عتبة وابنته قريبة وابنا ابنه يعقوب بن عبد الله بن عبد الله وموسى بن يعقوب وغيرهم. قال الزبير بن بكار كان عريف بني أسد وذكره ابن حبان في الثقات. له عند (ت ص) حديث مناجاته ﵌ فاطمة وبكائها وضحكها وعند (ق) قصة بيع النعمان لسويبط*
