(٤٠) (د ت-عبد الله) بن مسافع (¬١) بن عبد الله الأكبر بن شيبة بن عثمان ابن أبي طلحة العبدري المكي الحجبي. أمه سعدة بنت عبد الله بن وهب بن عثمان بن أبي طلحة. روى عن عقبة وقيل عتبة بن محمد بن الحارث وقيل عن ابن عمه مصعب بن عثمان بن شيبة عنه وهو الصحيح وعن عمته صفية بنت شيبة. روى عنه منصور بن عبد الرحمن الحجبي وابن جريج. ذكر محمد ابن عائذ أنه مات مرابطا بدابق مع سليمان بن عبد الملك ومات سليمان بعدهبيسير سنة تسع وتسعين بالشام. له في الكتابين حديث واحد في سجود السهو*
