    أبو عمران الطبري أحد شيوخ الصوفية. قال أبو عمران: سمعت أبا عبد الله بن الجلاء يقول: سمعت ذا النون بن إبراهيم الإخميمي يقول: أفضل الأعمال أربعة: الحلم عند الغضب، والسخاوة في القلة، والورع في الخلوة، وصدق القول عند من تخافه أو ترجوه. سأل بعض الفقراء أبا عمران فقال: فقير عقد على نفسه عقداً ثم يستقبله العلم بما هو أولى؟ قال: لا يرجع في عقده. قال الله تعالى: " فإذا خفت عليه فألقيه في اليم ". قال السلمي: توفي سنة أربع وعشرين وثلاث مئة.
