الهيثم بن مروان بن الهيثم بن عمران أبو الحكم العنسي حدث عن محمد بن عيسى بن القاسم بن سميع بسنده إلى عائشة رضوان الله عليها قالت: لو أن رسول الله ﷺ يعلم ما يحدث للنساء من بعده لمنعهن من إتيان المساجد كما منعت نساء بني إسرائيل، فقلت لها: يا أم المؤمنين، ومنعت نساء بني إسرائيل المساجد؟ قالت: نعم. وحدث عنه بسنده إلى أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: اليهود والنصارى لا تصبغ فخالفوهم. وحدث عن مروان بن محمد بسنده إلى عائشة ﵂ قالت: ما كان شيء أبغض إلى رسول الله ﷺ من الكذب، وما جرب رسول الله ﷺ على أحد كذباً فرجع إليه ما كان يعرف منه حتى كان يظهر منه توبة.
