    هضاب بن طوق اللخمي الكاتب ولي هضاب خراج دمشق، ومساحتها في ولاية المنصور. كان المنصور بعث المعدلين يعني: المساح إلى أجناد الشام سنة أربعين وإحدى وأربعين ومئة، فعدلوا الأراضي ما في أيدي المسلمين والأنباط على تعديل مسمى، ولم يعدل الغوطة في تلك السنة حتى بعث المنصور هضاب بن طوق ومحرز بن زريق، فعدلوا الأشربة بالغوطة، وأمرهم ألا يضعوا أيديهم على شيء من القطائع القديمة ولا الأشربة خراجا، وأن يمضوها لأهلها عشرا، ووضعوا الخراج على ما بقي منها بأيدي الأنباط، وعلى الأشربة المحدثة بعد سنة مئة إلى السنة التي عدل فيها.
