وهب بن سلمان بن أحمد ابن عبد الله بن أحمد أبو القاسم السلمي المعروف بابن الزلف، الفقيه الشافعي حدث بسنده إلى أنس قال: قال النبي ﷺ: إن الحسد يأكل الحسنات كما تأكل النار الحطب، وإن الصدقة تطفئ الخطيئة كما تطفئ الماء النار، والصلاة نور المؤمن، والصوم جنةٌ من النار. ولد أبو القاسم سنة ثمان وتسعين وأربع مئة، وتوفي سنة تسع وأربعين وخمس مئة.
