نشبة بن حندج بن الحسن بن عبد الله بن خالد بن يزيد بن صالح بن صبيح بن الحساس بن معاوية بن سفيان أبو الحارث المري من الغوطة. حدث بقصر ابن عمر سنة خمسين وثلاث مئة أنه وجد في كتاب جده الحسين بن عبد الله بسنده إلى أبي أمامة عن النبي ﷺ قال: اقرؤوا القرآن، فإن الله لا يعذب قلباً وعى القرآن. حندج: بحاء مهملة مضمومة، وآخره جيم.
