ميماس بن مهري بن كامل أبو رافع الصقيل القشيري الأمير والد إبراهيم بن مياس. وحدث بدمشق عن خلفة بن أحمد بن الفضل الحوفي بسنده إلى أنس قال: أتى النبي ﷺ رجل يريد سفراً، فقال: أوصني، فقال: " اتق الله حيثما كنت، وأتبع السيئة الحسنة، وخالق الناس بخلق حسن ". فلما ودعه قال: " زودك الله التقوى، وجنبك الردى، وغفر لك ذنبك، ووجهك للخير حيثما توجهت. توفي بالرحبة وعمره اثنتان وستون سنة، ويظن أنه توفي سنة اثنتين وسبعين وأربع مئة.
