منصور بن علوان بن وهبان أبو الفتح السلمي الصيداوي المؤدب أديب حاسب، له شعر حسن، وكان كثير التبذل، يحضر مقام المصارعين، ويجلس في حلق الطرقيين. ولد بصيدا سنة اثنتين وتسعين وأربع مئة وكان شافعي المذهب وله: من السريعلو أن لي مالاً وجاهاً لما ... قصر في إكرامي الناس لكنها الأيام لما سطت ... ومسنى ضر وإفلاس رماني الدهر بأحداثه ... كأنني للدهر برجاس وأظهر الإخوان لي جفوة ... وبان ليم منبرهم ياس إن غبت لا يسأل عني وإن ... حضرت لا يرفع بي راس توفي أبو الفتح سنة ستين وخمس مئة بدمشق.
