مزاحم بن زفر بن علاج ابن مالك بن الحارث بن عامر بن جساس - بكسر الجيم - بن نشبة بن ربيع بن عمرو بن عبد الله بن لؤي بن عمرو بن الحارث بن تيم الرباب بن عبد مناة بن أد بن طابخة بن إلياس بن مضر، التيمي قدم دمشق، وحدث بها وبالعراق، وكان مزاحم فقيهاً شريفاً بالكوفة. روى عن أيوب بن حوط، عن نفيع بن الحارث، عن زيد بن أرقم، قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: " إذا خرج أحدكم إلى سفر فليودع إخوانه، فإن الله جاعل له في دعائهم بركة ".
