محمود بن عبد الرحمن أبي زرعة ابن عمرو بن عبد الله بن صفوان بن عمرو النصري روى عن أبي عامر، بسنده إلى مرة بن كعب البهزي، قال: كنت جالساً مع رسول الله ﷺ وهو يذكر الفتن، فمر رجل مقنع، فقال رسول الله ﷺ: " هذا يومئذ ومن كان معه على الحق ". قال: فقمت، فأخذت بردائه، فلفت وجهه فإذا هو عثمان بن عفان؛ فقلت بوجهه: يا نبي الله، هذا؟ قال: " هذا ".
