المحسن بن علي بن يوسف أبو الفضل، المعروف بابن السويسة قال ابن صابر: كان رجلاً ديناً. مات في يوم الإثنين ودفن يوم الخميس السادس عشر من شهر ربيع الأول، من سنة اثنتين وثمانين وأربعمئة. وسألته عن مولده، فقال: ولدت في سنة عشر وأربعمئة. لم يكن الحديث من شأنه.
