المحسن بن طاهر بن المحسن بن أفلح أبو الفضل الفقيه، المقرئ، المالكي، الطرسوسي، الحساب، الحريري قرأ القرآن العظيم بحرف ابن عامر، وبحرف عاصم والكسائي، وحدث. روى عن عبد الرحمن بن عثمان الشاهد، بسنده إلى ابن مسعود، قال: سئل النبي ﷺ عن الوسوسة، قال: " ذاك محض الإيمان ". قال محمد بن صابر: سألت الكتاني: توفي يوم السبت الثامن عشر من ذي الحجة سنة ستين وأربعمئة، ودفن من الغد، وكان قد حدث بشيء يسير، ﵀.
