محمد بن يحيى بن ياسر أبو بكر الجوبري والد عبد الرحمن حدث عن أبي بكر محمد بن خريم بن محمد بن مروان بن عبد الملك العقيلي، بسنده إلى أنس، قال: كثيراً ما كنا نسمع رسول الله ﷺ يقول: " يا مقلب القلوب ثبت قلبي على دينك " فقلنا له: يا رسول الله، قد أمرنا لك وصدقنا بما حدثتنا به، فهل تخاف علينا؟ قال: " نعم إن القلوب بين أصبعين من أصابع الله ﷿ يقلبها ". وفي روايةٍ: فقلنا: يا رسول الله آمنا بك وبما جئت به، فهل تخاف علينا؟ قال: " نعم " الحديث.
