    محمد بن ما شاء الله أبو الحسن المقرئ الضرير حدث بدمشق، قال: سئل أبو بكر بن الأنباري عن رجلٍ شكر رجلاً في نعمةٍ أنعم بها عليه؛ فقال: إن الله ﷿ يحب من العبد إذا أوتي نعمةً أن يشكرها، لأن الله ﷿ قال: " واشكوا لي ولا تكفرون " وأنشد: من الطويل فلو كان يستغني عن الشكر منعمٌ ... لعزة مجدٍ أو علو مكان لما أمر الله العباد بشكره ... فقال: اشكروا لي أيها الثقلان
