    محمد بن محمد بن طاهر أبو بكر البغدادي التاجر حدث عن أبي الحسن محمد بن عبد الواحد، بسنده إلى رجل من هذيل، قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: " إن هذا الشعر جزلٌ من كلام العرب به يعطى السائل، وبه يكظم الغيظ، وبه يؤتي القوم في ناديهم ". ولد أبو بكر سنة خمس عشرة وأربع مئة، وتوفي سنة اثنتين وستين وأربع مئة، وكان حسن الطريقة حافظاً لكتاب الله ﷿.
