    محمد بن عمر بن عبد الله ابن رستم بن سنان أبو صالح الفارسي، البعلبكي المعلم حدث عن محمد بن إبراهيم بن كثير الصوري، بسنده إلى أبي هريرة، عن النبي ﷺ قال: " من قرأ يس في ليلةٍ التماس وجه الله ﷿ غفر له ". وحدث عن عثمان بن حرزاد، بسنده إلى عبد الله، قال: سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: " إن أكثر خطايا ابن آدم في لسانه ". قال المصنف: هذا الرجل هو محمد بن حفص بن عمر بن عبد الله بن عمر بن رستم الذي تقدم، انقلب نسبه على ابن المقرئ.
