محمد بن علي أبو غالب ابن أبي الحسن المكبر البغدادي حدث عن أبي جعفر محمد بن أحمد بن محمد بن عمر بن المسلمة، بسنده إلى أنس بن مالك، أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: " تكون بين يدي الساعة فتنٌ كقطع الليل المظلم، يصبح الرجل فيها مؤمناً ويمسي كافراً، ويمسي مؤمناً ويصبح كافراً، يبيع أقوامٌ دينهم بعرضٍ من الدنيا ". توفي أبو غالب المكبر سنة ثلاث وأربعين وخمس مئة، وله خمس وتسعون سنة.
