محمد بن علي بن محمد الجمحي ابن عمر بن رجاء بن عمرو بن أبي العيس أبو العيس الجمحي، الأطرابلسي القاضي حدث بأطرابلس عن أبي العباس منير بن أحمد بن الحسن بن علي بن منير الخلال، بسنده إلى حذيفة بن اليمان قال: كنت مع النبي ﷺ يوماً حتى انتهى إلى بساطة قوم فتنحيت منه فبال قائماً ثم قال لي: " ادن " فدنوت منه حتى كنت عند رجليه فتوضأ ومسح على خفيه. ورد الخبر بوفاة أبي العيس سنة ستين وأربع مئة وكان سنياً.
