محمد بن علي بن أحمد الملطي ابن أبي فروة أبو الحسين الملطي المقرئ حدث عن عبيد الله بن الحسين، بسنده إلى أبي بردة، عن أبيه، قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: " لا نكاح إلا بولي ". قال علي بن محمد الحنائي: ظهر في الجامع من يقول باللفظ في القرآن، والتلاوة غير المتلو، فقال لي أبو الحسين الملطي يوماً: يقدر إنسان أن يضيف شعر امرئ القيس إلى نفسه؟ قلت: لا، قال: أليس إذا أنشده إنسان قلنا: شعر امرئ القيس؟ فكذلك القرآن ممن سمعناه قلنا: كلام الله، ولا يجوز أن يضيفه إنسان إلى نفسه. توفي أبو الحسين سنة أربع وأربع مئة.
