محمد بن صالح بن عبد الرحمن التميمي ابن حماد بن سالم المعروف بابن أبي عصمة أبو العباس التميمي جار هشام بن عمار. روى عنه، بسنده إلى أنس أن النبي ﷺ شرب لبناً، وعن يمينه أعرابي، وعن يساره أبو بكر، فأعطى الأعرابي وقال: " الأيمن فالأيمن ".قال أبو سعيد بن يونس: محمد بن صالح بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي عصمة يكنى أبا العباس دمشقي، قدم مصر ينة أربه وثلاث مئة، وكتبنا عنه.
