    محمد بن أحمد بن الطيب أبو الحسين البغدادي قدم دمشق. حدث عن أبي سعد الحسن بن علي بن أحمد التستري بسنده إلى مالك بن أنس قال: كنت مع رسول الله ﷺ في بستان، وأهدي له طائر مشوي، فقال: " اللهم ائتني بأحب الخلق إليك "، فجاءه علي بن أبي طالب، فقلت: رسول الله ﷺ مشغول، فرجع، ثم جاء بعد ساعة، ودق الباب، ورددته مثل ذلك. ثم قال رسول الله ﷺ: " يا أنس، افتح له، فطالما رددته "! فقلت: يا رسول الله، كنت أطمع أن يكون رجلاً من الأنصار، فدخل علي بن أبي طالب، فأكل معه من الطير، فقال رسول الله ﷺ تسليماً كثيراً: " المرء يحب قومه ".
