محمد بن أحمد بن راشد ابن معدان بن عبد الرحيم أبو بكر الثقفي مولاهم أصبهاني. حدث عن يحي بن حكيم المقوم بسنده إلى أنس قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: " المرء مع من احب ". وروى عن أبي السائب سلم بن جنادة بسنده إلى عائشة قالت: قال النبي ﷺ: " تزوجوا النساء؛ فإن هن يأتين بالمال ". قال أبو نعيم: محمد بن أحمد راشد بن معدان بن عبد الرحيم، مولى ثقيف، أبو يكر، محدث ابن محدث. توفي بكرمان سنة تسعة وثلاثمائة. كثير الحديث والتصانيف.
