    فطبة بن عامر ويقال: ابن قتادة، ويقال قتادة بن قطبة العذري له صحبة. شهد غزوة مؤتة، وكان على ميمنة عسكر المسلمين. عن ابن إسحاق قال: وقد كان قطبة بن قتادة العذري الذي كان على ميمنة المسلمين قد حمل على مالك بن زافلة قائد المستعربة، فقتله، فقال في قتله: " من المتقارب " طعنت ابن زافلة الإراشي ... برمح مضى فيه ثم انحطم ضبت على خده ضربة ... فمال كما مال غصن السلم وسقنا نساء بني عمه ... غداة رقوقين سوق النعم
