    فاطمة ست العجم بنت سهل بن بشر بن أحمد الإسفراييني المعروفة بالعالمة الصغيرة كانت تعظ النساء في بعض المساجد، وفي الأعزية. وكان ابن مغيث زوج أختها، فطلقها وتزوج بفاطمة قبل انقضاء عدة أختها، فأتتإلى القاضي أبي المفضل بن عساكر تسأله عن قصتها فقال لها: مذهب الشافعي جواز نكاح الأخت في عدة الأخت. فقالت: أنا شافعية وأقامت على نكاحه ومضت معه إلى مصر فماتت هناك.
