عمر بن محمد بن جعفر بن حفص أبو حفص المغازليّ، الأصبهانيّ، المعدّل سمع بدمشق. روى عن أبي الدّحداح أحمد بن محمد بن إسماعيل الدمشقي، بسنده إلى عبد الله بن عبّاس: أن النّبيّ ﷺ قال: " للملوك على مولاه ثلاث خصال؛ لا يعجله عن صلاته، ولا يقيمه عن طعامه، ويبيعه إذا استباعه ". قال أبو نعيم: سمع بالشّام والعراق وأصبهان.
