عمر بن سلمة بن الغمر أبو بكر السّكسكيّ البتلهيّ روى عن أبي عبد الله نوح السّكسكيّ، بسنده إلى أنس بن مالك، قال: كنّا مع رسول الله ﷺ بتبوك فطلعت الشمس لضياء وشعاع ونور لم نرها طلعت به فيما مضى، فأتاه جبريل، فقال: يا جبريل، ما لي أرى الشمس طلعت بضياء ونور وشعاع لم أرها طلعت به فيما مضى؟ قال: ذاك أن معاوية بن معاوية اللّيثي مات اليوم بالمدينة. مات سنة خمس وعشرين وثلاثمئة.
